Edward Powe

Edward was born in Los Angeles, California on December 19, 1922 and passed away on April 9, 2014 in Hemet, California.  He is survived by his 2 sons Thomas and Richard, their wives Diane and Patricia, 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 bonus (step-) great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Jeanette Powe.

Professionally, Edward worked in retail management for over 40 years. He began his career with Sears, Roebuck, and Co. pulling orders on roller skates and after supporting operations in several states he retired as the General Manager of the Chicago plant.  For pleasure, he enjoyed golfing with co-workers and neighbors, stayed in touched with life-long friends, enjoyed fine dining, traveling, and loved dogs.  Family and friends will miss the stories he enjoyed telling so much

A graveside service will be held on Monday 4/21 at 9:30 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.
