Beatrice Mannex

Beatrice Mannex was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico on June 24, 1932. Beatrice was the fifth of eleven children born to Cruz Gomez and Maura Gutierrez. Beatrice was in the convent of Jesus of Mary for 30 years and attained her Bachelors in Teaching while there. In the 70’s she was married for 10 years to Alejo Ortiz. She then met Richard and shared 25 years of marriage. She was a teacher in English and French in UCLA in Los Angeles. In her free time she loved tending to her garden and enjoyed reading. Celebrating the holidays with family and friends were the happiest times for her. She was always very joyful and had a great optimism in life. She remained very social and was and active in her church St Martha’s in Murrieta, California, and had a strong faith in God.
She is preceded in death by her parents Cruz Gomes and Maura Gutierrez; four brothers Angel, Arturo, Lorenzo and Reynaldo; two sisters Beatrice and Adela.
She leaves behind to cherish and live in her memory her loving husband Richard Mannex; her sister Juana; three brothers Narciso with his wife Elena, Claudio with his wife Beatriz and Joe Gomez; a host of nieces and nephews; other extended family, her church family and many friends all over Murrieta.
