Tribute

Carolyn Jo Lee, lovingly known as Carolyn by those who knew her best, passed
away peacefully on April 6, 2024, at the age of 62 in Homeland, California. Born
on Christmas Day in 1961 in West Covina, California, Carolyn's life was a
testament to the joy and warmth she brought into this world, a true
embodiment of the holiday spirit in which she entered it.
Carolyn's life was marked by her unwavering kindness, her friendly demeanor,
and the love she generously extended to all. For 26 beautiful years, she was the
devoted wife of Michael Lee, sharing a journey filled with love, laughter, and
cherished memories. In addition to her adoring husband, Carolyn's legacy is
carried on by her beloved sisters, Sheryl, Karen, Linda, and Jerry, and her
treasured nieces and nephews, Miranda, Nathaniel, Ian Nichols, Brandon, Justin,
Dillon Galindo, Michael, Matthew Morello, and Ashley and Misty O'Neill. Each of
these individuals was touched by Carolyn's love and kindness, and she will be
profoundly missed by them all. She was preceded in death by her parents
George and Annie McCann and her sister Terry.
Carolyn's passion for life was evident in her everyday activities. She found
solace in the tranquility of fishing, the satisfaction of tending to her garden, and
the unconditional love of her many pets. Her cats and dogs were not just pets,
but members of her family, cared for with the same depth of love she showed
to all living creatures. Carolyn's nurturing spirit extended beyond her family and
pets; she was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Professionally, Carolyn dedicated herself to serving the community as a
receptionist for the county social workers. Her role was not just a job but a
calling, as she took every opportunity to support and uplift those around her.
Her colleagues and those she helped through her work will remember her as the
heart of the office, greeting each day and every person with a warm smile and
an open heart.
Carolyn's life was a lesson in love and compassion. To know her was to
experience kindness in its purest form. Her laughter was infectious, her
presence comforting, and her ability to make anyone feel welcome was
unparalleled. Carolyn's spirit of generosity and her genuine concern for the well-
being of others have left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family, friends,
and community.
As we say goodbye to Carolyn, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul
that will continue to inspire kindness and love in those who were fortunate

enough to have known her. Her spirit will live on in the memories we cherish,
the stories we share, and the love we continue to spread in her honor.
Carolyn's journey through life was a testament to the power of a kind heart and
the impact one individual can have on the world around them. Though her
physical presence will be deeply missed, the essence of who she was will
forever influence the lives of those she touched.
In remembrance of Carolyn Jo Lee, we take solace in the knowledge that her
legacy will endure through the countless lives she enriched. Her memory will be
a beacon of love and kindness, guiding us through our days with the gentle
reminder of the difference one person can make. Carolyn's journey on this earth
has ended, but the story of her life will continue to be told with admiration and love.
