Obituary for David L. Warren

David was born on December 30, 1920 to Raymond and Hilda Warren in Buffalo, New York, the youngest of 3 children.

After the family relocated to the Detroit area of Michigan, David enjoyed following in his older brother's footsteps by joining the Conservation Corps, and later joining the Michigan State Troopers. As World War II rapidly approached, David joined the United States Army, and was assigned to the 503rd Military Police Battalion. He traveled much of Europe and it was here he met his soon to be British wife, Veronica. They were married in July 1945 in Manchester, England, and were blessed with 3 children. Sadly, Veronica's life would be called back to God at a young age, leaving David widowed. In 1981, he was fortunate to find love again with his beautiful wife Carmen. They were married in September 1986.

David spent most of his life taking care of his loved ones and keeping them close. His favorite times were having family BBQ's with everyone around him. He took his role as veteran, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and patriarch of the family proudly. David passed away on March 6, 2017 at the young age of 96, where he is with our Lord and loved ones that passed on before him. David is survived through his loving wife, Carmen, 3 children Lindalee, Theron Brian and Kathleen, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and so many others that came to call him Grandpa. Thank you for being our hero!
