John Clyde Perry

John Clyde Perry was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on December 10, 1926 and passed away in Hemet, California on January 2, 2018.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years Rosemary Perry; 2 children Lawrence Gubernath & Rebecca Ireland; 2 grandchildren Kirsche Gubernath & Candi McCane; 3 brothers Paul, James, & Floyd; and Sister Ruth Twardoski.    He was preceded in death by siblings Harold, Edna, Charles, and Donald.

John served in the Army in WWII as a paratrooper.  Professionally, he taught at various schools in the San Bernardino Unified School District for 29 years.  His hobbies included traveling and reading about politics and economics. 

A memorial service with military honors will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
