Farewell my big sister,

Pam, your courageous, decades-long struggle against that cruel disease is now behind you. I selfishly wish you would have had more time, but I am comforted by knowing you are now at peace.

You will forever be a part of who I am. As I struggle to write this, I realize there is no other person on this planet that I have known my entire life, except for you.

I will never hear your voice, receive another email, a birthday wish nor a Merry Christmas from you again. Nor get to reminisce about our youth or discuss our ancestors.

I will miss you.
