The Piano Brothers

Robert Eugene Palmer Jr (Bob) was born on March 21, 1954 to Robert Palmer and Margaret (Fleckenstein) Palmer. Bob grew up with four siblings in La Puente, CA. He attended Bassett High School and one year at Northrop Institute of Technology. He had two successful careers, one with Southern California Edison and the second with Eastern Municipal Water District, where he worked from 1990 to 2012 when he retired from the Information Technology Group to enjoy some traveling and continue tutoring. Bob was a generous soul who enjoyed learning and education and volunteered for over 20 years of his life to help others graduate from elementary school to college. He was a literacy volunteer at Nuview Elementary, Chester W Morrison Elementary and several other schools and personally tutored many co-workers and their children in math, science and literacy. He enjoyed spending time at Balboa Park listening to music at the Spreckels organ pavilion, his rock music, his fast cars, and his amazing trips with his family throughout the U.S., Germany and the beautiful island of Hawaii. Bob passed away at his home in Perris, CA on October 13, 2017 and is survived by his brothers William and David, his niece Cindy and other nephews and nieces. He will also be missed by close family friends Dan and Sue Crowder as well as the many others too numerous to name.
