Anthony Robert Gavin

Anthony Robert Gavin (known to his family as Robbie) was born on June 11, 1967 and passed away on January 9, 2020 with friends and family by his side.

Robbie spent years as a novice Saint Benedictine Monk in the Catholic Church at Mount Angel Abbey in Oregon. The Abbey is where he went to college and took his vows, which is when he took the name Anthony after Saint Anthony of Padua. Anthony left the Abbey before taking his final vows.

After leaving the Abbey, Anthony spent 26 years working for Ultramar and ultimately Valero Energy Corporation as a Manager of UnBranded Sales where he made many lifelong friends and colleagues that he had so much admiration for.

Anthony leaves behind his mother, father, sister, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, close friends and of course his babies: Luca, Tucker, Massimo, Emma and Sophia.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 12 pm in the afternoon at St. Catherine of Alexandria located at 41875 "C" Street, Temecula, CA 92592. A viewing will be held from 11:15 am to 11:45 am preceding the Funeral Mass.

A Celebration of Life with light refreshments will be held at Anthony's home following the Funeral Mass. Address for the Celebration of Life to be made available at the Funeral Mass.
