Barbara Ann Pulvino

Tribute

Barbara Ann Pulvino (Pawlak) went home to be with the Lord on December 2, 2020 in Temecula, California, at the age of eighty.  She was born to Jerry and Helen Pawlak in Niagara Falls, New York on April 24, 1940.

Barbara married on April 15, 1961 and is survived by, husband, Anthony Pulvino.  They had been married for fifty-nine years.  Barbara and Anthony lived in Buffalo/Kenmore, New York until 2008.  They had two children.  Their first child, Craig Anthony Pulvino, passed away in 1985.  Barbara is survived by their daughter, Lori Torok (Pulvino), who also lives in Temecula, California, with her husband Stephen Torok and their daughter, Zoë, who lovingly called her grandma, “Boosia.”

Barbara worked in the Ken-Ton School District of New York State, where she tirelessly and creatively planned, cooked, and served school meals for children throughout the District until her retirement, as Cook Manager, in 2005.

Barbara and Anthony moved to Southern California in 2008, to be with their daughter, son-in-law, and grand-daughter.  Barbara was surrounded by loving family, on her last day, as she was called Home.

Barbara is also survived by sister, Claudia Taylor (Pawlak), brother-in-law Russell Taylor, and nieces, Deborah Taylor and Jennifer Gorney (Taylor), with her husband, Steve, and their son, Jameson. 

Barbara will be interred at the National Cemetery in Riverside, California on April 23, 2021.  A memorial and graveside ceremony will take place at 9:30AM.
