Mrs. Bertha Arlene (Begin) Withee, of Skowhegan, Maine, born on January 4, 1942 in Bingham, Maine, to the late Theresa and the late George Begin, passed away at age 77 on March 8, 2019 in Wildomar, California. She was a cosmetologist at California Schools. Arlene was the beloved wife of the late Donald L Withee Sr.. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, George Higgins; and sons, Robert and James Day. She is survived by her son, Donald  Withee Jr,  daughters, Brenda (Randall) Mayer and Lisa (Craig) Salisbury, brothers,  sisters, Jeannine (Fred) Treadwell , Yvette (Gordon) Cullinan,James (Joyce) Begin, Norman (Melissa) Begin, Lewis (Pam) Begin. Yvonne (Al) Brown, and Theresa (Jerry) Sirois; and grandchildren, Christopher (Tia), Kevin (Sara), Ashley, Donald III, Michael and Nathan. Greatgrandsons Brayden, Bryson and twin great grandsons Emmitt and Jackson. And many nieces, nephews and friends.
Arlene, as everyone knew her by, enjoyed bingo and video poker, she loved playing as often as she could waiting for that next Royal Flush!  She enjoyed cooking for her family to show her love, and her passion for reading took her on adventures far and wide, and she took that to the road on her 2 cross country trips she took with her sister Jeannine, stopping at casinos, landmarks and surprising family along the way. She said many times that " It was one of the best times of her life" She cherished every memory in her mind as well as in her heart.

Graveside services to unite Donald and Arlene for eternity will be June 29 2019, at 11:00 am.   Father Rasel Road, Madison, Maine 04950
