A beloved husband, father, son, brother, and Uncle B.

Brian Z. Haney, 32, of Lake Elsinore, CA died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 9, 2023, due to injuries sustained from a tragic car accident in Lake Elsinore, CA. His loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Brian is survived by his wife, Leslee Haney, 1-month-old son, Cole Thomas Haney, his parents, Gary and Wendy Haney, a sister, Alexis Soliman, a brother-n-law, Fady Soliman, nephew, Luke Soliman, niece, Alana Soliman, Grandparents, Rick & Eve Faulkner, and Grandmother, Norma Haney.

Brian is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Leon Haney, and Grandfather, Gary Gunther.

Brian was born on Dec. 17, 1990 to his parents Gary & Wendy Haney, in Upland. CA. Brian’s family home was in Corona, CA and he attended Corona High School, where he excelled in his love for basketball. Brian continued his education earning a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice  and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice. Brian served in the Air Force as a Senior Airman Firefighter. Brian graduated from the Orange County Sheriffs Academy and served the city of San Juan Capistrano, CA as a sheriff deputy for 6 years.

Brian married the love of his life, Leslee Haney on October 29, 2021. Brian & Leslee became parents to Cole Thomas Haney on January 10, 2023. Anyone who knew Brian knew this was the happiest time of his life. Brian’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

A funeral service is scheduled for 9:30am on February 23, 2023 at Cornerstone Community Church in Wildomar, CA. US Army Major, Chaplain Carlos Ruiz, and long time family friend, will officiate the service. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA. Serving as pallbearers will be Alex Ricketts, Mike Koyro, Pat Medieros, Sam Okabe, Jared Brittain, Brandon Kisgen, and Mikey Harris. Flowers and condolences may be delivered to Cornerstone Community Church located at 34570 Monte Vista Dr., Wildomar, CA.
