Bryan John Metzger was born on April 12, 1966, in Newport Beach, California to James Lewis Metzger and Terry Darlene Metzger. He passed on to join his father, James Lewis Metzger, mother (Terry Darlene Metzger), son (Alex James Metzger), brother (Gordon Metzger), and grandparents (Roy and Crystal Herald) on December 13, 2020.
In his 54 years, he lived a life full of adventure, laughter, hard work, but also family fun. He learned his skill as a finished carpenter and love for the trade from his father. He took pride in taking care of his family, providing opportunities for fun adventures together, but also embracing project after project to cater the family home to family needs and comfort. He is survived by his wife (Jill Metzger) and children (Morgan Metzger, Madison Metzger, Collin Robinson, Tori Metzger, Haileigh Metzger, Ryder Metzger). Bryan is also survived by his stepmother (Karen Metzger), brothers (Eric Metzger and Jason Jacobson), stepbrother Courtney Conklin and their respective families.
Bryan was a larger than life personality who enjoyed family fun that included beach camp trips, garage dance parties, motorcycle riding, pool/bbq parties, as well as the challenge of a new construction project for the home. He was generous with his time, talents, and heart, and lent a hand to family and friends whenever he could. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by all who knew him. Memorial services are being held at Lambs Fellowship 21901 Railroad Canyon Rd Lake Elsinore 92530 on April 10th at 1pm
