On December 1, 1933 in Syracuse, New York, Carrol Ann was born to Mary Discenza Romano and Nicholas Romano. She was the eldest of six.
She graduated from North High School, in Syracuse in 1952.
Carrol Ann loved to bake, sew, sing and play the piano.
She met the love of her life, Frank Licitra, in Syracuse while they both sang in the same choir at Our Lady of Pompei Roman Catholic Church.
They later married at the same church where they met on May 23, 1959.
Carrol Ann's parents were married at this same church on January 9, 1933.
They had their first born, Maribeth and four years later had their son, David Francis.
Carrol Ann and Frank left Syracuse in the summer of 1969 and headed to California to move away from the snow in Upstate New York. Their first residence in California was in Arcadia. Later they purchased a home in Temple City, California until Frank got a job transfer to Temecula, California. There they bought a home in Lake Village where their kids grew up and graduated.
In 1988 Carrol lost her husband Frank. After 31 years they are now together forever.
Carrol Ann was the longest living member of Nick and Mary Romano family to date.

Carrol Ann was predeceased by her parents and 3 brothers Nicholas Jr. (Gerda) Romano, Paul (Peggy) Romano, and Michael Romano. She is survived by her daughter Maribeth (Mike) Simonson of Murrieta, CA, and son David (Reina) Licitra of Nuevo, CA, grandchildren Matt (Sarah) East, Kimber Licitra, Evan Thomas and Giovanni Licitra, brother John (Barbara) Romano, of N. Syracuse, and sister Ginny (Larry) Driscoll of Auburn, NY., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
