Chevy Andre Corriveau was born on October 16, 2003 to Phillipe Andre Corriveau and Melissa Grace Dredd (maiden name of Stout) in Riverside, California. Chevy's life was marked by passion and excellence. Many of the things Chevy would set out to do would seem to come natural and almost effortlessly to him. He was as capable as he was smart, and Chevy was very intelligent. But the word that would be the focal point of Chevy's life would be the word loyalty, and you would hear him use the word often. His passion, desire for excellence, and most importantly his loyalty would drive him to be a loving brother to his younger sister Jourdyn Grace Metoyer as quite often he would take her out to go shopping or just spend the day together. This same drive would push Chevy to be a loyal son, brother, friend, and neighbor and would manifest itself in a variety of acts of service as he would often repair the vehicles of friends and family, spend time on mission trips building houses for those in need, and volunteer his time to help others. Many of these skills and the heart for serving were passed down to him by both of his parents. Chevy spent his last year of high school preparing to propel forward with many plans in his future guided by his mentor Alex Apodaca. But most notably he would spend his time with his girlfriend Brielle Fuerstenberg who he was passionate about most. On April 5, 2021 Chevy unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord and he leaves behind his father Phillippe Corriveau, mother Melissa Dredd, sister Jourdyn Metoyer, brother Jericho Christopher Dredd, step-father Byron Christopher Dredd, papa Pierre Corriveau, nana Lorene Corriveau and a host of family and friends. But Chevy also leaves behind many great memories, life lessons, and laughs that we all will carry on.
