Christina Marie Hodges

Christina Marie Hodges was born in Fallbrook, California on May 03, 1952 to her parents George and Aveni Contreras. She grew up in Murrieta, California and graduated in the summer of 1969 from Elsinore Union High School. She went on to attain her Master’s in Teaching at CAL STATE FULLERTON in 1988. She was a loving teacher at Machado Elementary School in Lake Elsinore, California for many years, then went to Elsinore Elementary, then on to Tuscany Hills Middle School where she retired after 35 years as a teacher.

 In 1985, Christina met the love of her life Jeff Hodges and together they were blessed with a daughter, Elyse. Christina enjoyed gardening, traveling, riding horses, but she was most passionate about teaching children. Christina loved to travel she got to visit many different resorts in Mexico and traveled to many places within the states. She had a beautiful loving heart and an unconditional love for her family.

 She leaves behind to cherish and live on in her memory her loving husband of 34 years Jeff Hodges; their daughter Elyse; all the little hearts of children she helped throughout her years in teaching; and many friends.

 There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Christina Marie Hodges on Saturday September 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM
