Craig Michael Odekirk

Craig Michael Odekirk was born in Oceanside, California on June 24, 1972.  He tragically passed away on November 19, 2018 in a motorcycle accident.  Craig was a beloved Father, Companion, Son and Brother.  He leaves behind his 4 beautiful children Khiana, Kalia, Kai, and Kierah and is also survived by his loving fiancé Kiersten, his parents Virgle & Ruth Odekirk and his siblings Michelle & Douglas Odekirk.  As well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, & Nephews.

Craig was a caring soul who wanted to help others as much as he could and because of that he decided to become a professional Massage Therapist.  Of course, in classic Craig style, that wasn’t enough.   He knew he could help even more people if he taught others everything he knew about the profession he came to love.  This led him to become an instructor at Brightwood College in Vista Ca and, prior to that, at Bellus Academy in Poway. Craig even took that huge step and started his own business. He became the proud owner of R & R Myotherapy.

Riding motorcycles, playing basketball and spending time outdoors with his family showed the adventurous man inside of Craig.  He enjoyed working with his hands.  So it isn’t any surprise that Woodworking would be one of his passions and he was extremely good at it.  Anything he created was built with an enormous amount of Love and the end result was always absolutely Beautiful.   

He possessed an amazing sense-of-humor and had such an uplifting spirit.  He had the ability to walk into any room and immediately brighten it with his big smile and infectious laugh.  Anyone who knew Craig knows that “Kind and Caring” doesn’t even begin to describe him.  He wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone in need.  Simply put, he would give you the shirt off of his back with no questions asked. 

Craig’s bright light will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Craig’s amazing life will be held on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at 11 am.

It will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 38910 Sky Canyon Drive, Murrieta Ca. 92563
