David Contreras

Our Dad

David Contreras, 86, was born in Ojai, CA and passed away at home peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Perris, CA.  He lived in El Paso, TX for most of his life.  David served our country as a Private in the United States Army 1951 to 1953.

Our Dad was very passionate about auto and body painting.  He owned his own shop in El Paso, TX.  He was a very hard worker and did this for 40 years.  He worked until his late 70's and he loved what he did.  He painted and did body work on the cars he painted as well as did custom paint.

Our Dad was a devoted Christian for many years

David was a loving dad, husband, brother, uncle, grandpa, great-grandpa and great-great-grandpa.  He leaves behind his surviving children- Gabriel, Juanita, Rosa, Gloria, Carlos, Patricia and Hector.  He has met again with his children that left before him- David, David, Gabriel, Elva, Monica and Xavier as well as his parents and siblings.

He will be remembered by his family in their own special ways and the memories they hold close in their hearts.

We will miss you, Daddy.  Until we meet again, please continue to bless us.
