David Leroy Edwards, born in Ventura, California April 30, 1950 to his loving parents Donald & Marvelene Edwards. After relocating to Riverside CA David attended Rubidoux High School soon after he started what would be a 53 year career in construction doing what he loved. A fight with cancer would leave him with many problems eating, & pain on a daily basis. Even with all these issues he never let any of it slow him down or keep him from the work he loved. David was a biker at heart, he rode his Harley as much as he could and talked about riding anytime he wasn't. He loved spending time on the open road riding or being outdoors camping, fishing, or working on one of his many projects. He always lit up the room everywhere he went & easily made friends. He was rough & tough around the edges but to anyone who ever met David & to those who knew & loved him, always knew just how sweet, loving, & dedicated he was to his friends and family. David will be remembered by his beard, bandana, & his love for the lord & helping others. David now rides free into the sunset, until we meet again.
David is now welcomed home with open arms by his parents Donald and Marvelene Edwards also his two best friends Vincent and Clyde. He leaves behind to live on in his memory his loving wife Madonna Edwards; his four children Angel with her husband Danny; Charlene, Marty, Shane, Aaron and Nick; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; his birds- especially Tyler his dear African Grey Parrot who was his best buddy.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
