Tribute

David Lee Rose

1/13/1951 – 4/23/2019

David Lee Rose “Dave” was born to Eston and Violet Rose in 1951. He was raised with his three siblings Wally, Janice, and Nancy in Santa Ana California. Growing up, Dave was known to be very adventurous, sweet and even a little mischievous. Along with enjoying adventures like catching toads and other wildlife, he would tease his sisters and cousins to no end. He also became an exceptional accordion player in his youth, a rare talent that he didn’t share with just anybody.

In 1969, Dave started his family with the birth of his first son, Michael and then Chad just three years later. After holding a few jobs just out of high school his brother Wally provided an opportunity for him to work in the construction business where he showed an exceptional work ethic. He quickly developed a great passion and skill while working for an Orange County based Union. He worked tirelessly, learning and mastering many facets of the construction business until he then obtained his contractor’s license for residential and commercial painting.

In 1990, he once again proved his fortitude and began his own residential and commercial painting company, Blue Ribbon Painting Inc. It only took him a mere two years to turn it into a successful corporation that is still in business to this day.

In 1981, Dave married his beloved wife Cindy and they soon welcomed the births of his two youngest sons Joshua and Taylor.  Throughout his young adulthood, besides becoming a master craftsman, Dave enjoyed owning  muscle cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles.  Although most of his off time was spent being  “Mr. Fix It” and doing home improvement projects, he took great solace in being involved in his sons sporting events, watching sports, family vacations, boating, waterskiing and later in life his son introduced him to his new love which was  golf.

Dave is survived by his wife Cindy, his three siblings, Wally Rose, Janice Pedone, and Nancy Varga. His  four sons, Michael Lee Rose, his wife Aliza, David “Chad” Rose, his wife Rita, Joshua Daniel Rose, his fiance’ Shavina, Taylor Jamison Rose, his fiance’ Elise and  eight grandchildren Jared Rose, Ryan Rose, Kyle Rose, Austin Rose, Evan Rose, Noelle Rose, Alexandria Rose, Stella Rose and what will be his ninth grandchild expected to arrive in July.
