Delma Ann Benton was born in Minden, Louisiana on February 26, 1948. She passed away peacefully at home in Perris, California on Tuesday March 17, 2020. She graduated from Webster High School in Minden, Louisiana with the Class of 1966. After High School, Delma went to the Southern University and graduated in 1970 with her Master’s in Teaching. Delma was baptized on April 15, 1974 as a Jehovah’s Witness, which strengthened and defined her faith. Delma dedicated herself not only to Jehovah but also in teaching children. She was a teacher for over 50 years, she enjoyed traveling the world and got to travel to many places like Greece, Germany, Canada and Korea to name a few.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Benton and Rozella Miller; two sisters Betty Grim and Carrie Taylor; and a brother Henry Benton.

She leaves behind to cherish and live on in her memory her loving son Rondell Qualls; two grandchildren Rojoni Qualls and Devante Qualls; three sisters Marjorie Lett, Martha Rogers and Wanda Miller; a host of nieces and nephews; her dear special friend Cassie Nefwani; her brothers and sisters in the Kingdom Hall; and friends.

There will be a memorial service for Delma Ann Benton on Saturday March 21, 2020 at 12 noon via Zoom, please contact family for more information.
