Donald C. Hook

Donald C. “Don” Hook of Menifee, California went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2018 at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Ann Hook. Don’s daughters and their spouses, Judi and Manny Hernandez and Jill and Art Cruz, plus five grandsons along with seven great-grandchildren were also with him upon his passing. 5 of Don’s 6 siblings also
survive him.

Donald was born April 22, 1930 in Lansing, Michigan. Don married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis, in 1948 while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He served in the USAF for 2 years as a military policeman. They moved to California where Don was employed in the insurance industry. He became a partner of MasonMcDuffie/Transamerica Insurance. Upon his retirement, Don volunteered at March Air Force Base and was the co-founder of the Oasis Veterans Club. Don also assisted with the Go Mobile for Life unit. He enjoyed spending time with his large family, traveling with his wife Ann and friends, attending bible study, and so much more.

Donald C. Hook will be greatly missed by all.
