Edith Bungay Harvey was born on October 30, 1961 and passed away on August 10, 2021 at age 59. She is a beloved mother of 3, grandmother of 3 and wife. She was born in the Philippines to Father, Rocky S. Bungay and mother, Magdalena L. Bungay. She moved to the United States in 1977 with her family when she was 16 years old and completed high school in San Diego, CA.
She comes from a large family of 13 children - 8 girls & 5 boys. She’s the 3rd youngest girl. All now live in the US and have built families together giving Edith 25+ nieces, nephews & grand nieces/nephews collectively (and growing).
Based in Las Vegas, she’s survived by her sons Andrew and Adam, daughter Audrey and husband Wayde, to whom she had been married to for 14 years. She was a proud grandmother “Amma” and adored her 3 grandsons – Jayden (age 10), Blake (age 10) and Roman (age 3). When she wasn’t hard at work at her full-time job, she was spending quality ‘Amma’ time with the boys.
One of her hobbies was hand-crafting jewelry and rosaries. She would gift her loved ones with a rosary and made several to donate to her local church. She loved to cook, especially when her family came to visit! She also loved to travel and find time at the casino with her siblings!
Edith was known for her beautiful, bright smile with a laugh/giggle that was contagious! She was extremely friendly and was always so positive with a great big generous heart. Everyone who came into her life was treated like family and was always welcomed with open arms. She will be missed by all whose life was made better by her presence.
