Edwin Lester McConnell

Edwin Lester McConnell, Sr. was born in Hartford, Connecticut on December 13, 1942 and passed away in Riverside, California on October 8, 2020.  He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Andrea McConnell; 4 sons Ed, Eric, Michael, & Marcus; 17 grandchildren; and his sister Vicki Thorpe.

Edwin proudly served his country in the Air Force and was discharged as Airmen Second Class.  He then went on to work as a Machinist in the aerospace industry for Rohr Aircraft for 47 years.  Edwin enjoyed being outside working on home projects.  He was a firm and outspoken man.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 9:45 a.m.
