Eric E. Wren passed away unexpectedly on May 27th, 2018 at the age of 47 at Inland Valley Medical Center in Murrieta, Ca.
Eric was a loving husband to Kathryn Wren and devoted father of Darren Wren. He is also survived by all 8 of his siblings: Allen McCumber, Sharon McCumber, Katrina McCumber, Sabrina McCumber, Christopher Carrillo, Melissa Collier, Nick Wren & Alex Wren. Eric is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy. Previous husband to Jill Lane.
Eric was born November 25th, 1970 in Yuba City to Nancy McCumber and H. Edward Wren. He grew up in a large, loving family in Northern California. He was a highly knowledgeable trucking route/permit writer with over 30 years experience, even owning his own Permit service. Eric married the love of his life, Kathryn “Kate” Wren on April 27th, 2012 and welcomed his foster son, Darren Wren, to the family on November 20th, 2017.
Eric loved music, fast cars, fishing, shooting, camping with family, Mexican food & Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. He was the family “IT guy” and our “Mr. Fix it”. As a Christian man, Eric loved Jesus Christ and attended services regularly at Olive Branch Community Church in Corona, Ca. He served the ministry in many ways, as an usher, with Security and the Coffee Ministry. In Ministry and at home, Eric was Always quick to help all those around him. He was extremely thoughtful and always a gentleman.
Eric is deeply missed by all who knew him, most especially family and close friends.
