Frank Paul Cyr

June 8, 1931 ~ August 11, 2017 (age 86) 86 Years Old


 

Frank Paul Cyr was born in the loving union of his parents Frank Paul Cyr Sr. and Blanche Marie Ouellette on June 08, 1931 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. At the young age of 16 he started working in a wood mill in Lawrence until he joined the United States Marine Corps. In 1955, he married Peggy Ann Holmes and they were blessed with two daughters Mary Lou and Carol Ann. He worked very hard for his family as a construction worker who traveled often. He moved to California in 1966 where he would call home. In 1976 Frank sadly lost his loving wife of 21 years Peggy Cyr. Later he married Song Ja Lewis in 1977 and together they shared 36 years of love and companionship before her passing in 2013. Frank will always be remembered for his love, compassion and caring for others. He was firm, but very kind. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Paul Cyr Sr. and Blanche Marie Ouellette; his loving wives Peggy and Song Ja; and grandson David Paul Root. He leaves behind to cherish and live in his memory his brother Robert Cyr; his two loving daughters Mary Lou and Carol Ann; three grandchildren Tracy, Pete and Stephen; seven great grandchildren Cody, Mary, Miranda, Kimberely, Kaleb, Maycee and Shyla; 1 niece and three nephews and many friends. 

There will be a gathering after the graveside service, everyone is invited. It will be held at the Perris VFW
