Gary Wayne Byler was born in Garden City, Kansas on September 21, 1947 and passed away in Menifee, California on November 15, 2020. He is survived by his two children Michelle L. Byler Cline & Kevin W. Byler; two grandchildren Ty Thomas Cline & Cheyenne Reyne Cline; and three nephews Jason Wilson, Sr., Jason Wilson, Jr., & Eric Sass. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Donna I Byler and Wayne Byler; and his former wife Jerri L Byler.
Gary proudly served his country in Marine Corps for 30 years, retiring as Master Sergeant. In 1992, he started a driving taxi for Yellow Cab. In 1994 he went on to open and run his own successful Cab business in Temecula, Murrieta, & Menifee. His hobbies included carpentry, traveling, and fishing. He was a very strong-willed and determined man. Gary was passionate about his family, especially his grandchildren, and he loved animals.
Military honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 2:30 p.m.
