Tribute

George H. Mendoza was born in Orange, California on March 12, 1946. He was one of six children born to Theodore and Aurora Mendoza. He attended Santa Ana High School then went on into the workforce. In 1968, he married his loving wife Yolanda Peralta and together they were blessed with four children Anita, Georgina, Anthony and Martin.

George had many hobbies he enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, dancing and listening to music. He got to visit Las Vegas and Laughlin many times and got to go on a Carnival Cruise. He really enjoyed spending time outdoors.  He will be remembered as a very loving husband and father. In social gatherings he always outshone with his crazy dance moves and how he enjoyed yelling “quack quack quack!” and another one of his favorite lines “Go to BEDDDDD!”. George always seemed to be the life of the party and people enjoyed having him around entertaining.

George is now reunited with his loving parents Theodore and Aurora Mendoza; his three brothers Ted, Danny and Eddie; and his sons Anthony and Martin. George leaves behind to cherish and live on in his memory his loving wife Yolanda Mendoza; his daughters Anita Watters and Georgina Mendoza; two grandchildren Joey Mendoza and Giselle Hargrove; five great-granchildren; his two sisters Annie Munoz and Alice Rodriguez; his two Chihuahuas named “Mamasita” and “Beanie”; other extended family and friends and people he met throughout his life time.

The family will like to give a special thanks to all that have supported them throughout this difficult journey and to those who continually send positive thoughts and prayers. Thank you all from the bottom of their hearts.

Goodbye Is Not Forever

When you lived your life for others and you loved without condition, when you made so many laugh and your smile won't be forgotten - when you left behind an empty place that no one else can fill, when the friendships that you shared long to be renewed- when you built your life on hope, and fulfilled it every day, the footprints that you left behind will bring us face to face. So goodbye is not forever, you're only steps away.
