Gerard Eugene Hurtado

Gerard Eugene Hurtado was born in Hanford, California on January 15, 1952 and passed away in Temecula, California on August 25, 2021.  Gerard is survived by his children, Dorene Swart & Gerard Hurtado, Jr. “JJ”; seven grandchildren; and three siblings.  He was preceded in death by his son Jason Hurtado and three of his siblings.

Gerard was a truck driver for over 22 years and for a short time his son, Jason and himself had a truck polishing business.  His hobbies included fishing, golfing, gardening and spending time with his friends and family.  Gerard was a happy-go-lucky man.  He always had a smile and loved to joke around.  Family and friends will miss his magnetic personality and the great love and kindness he shared.

A viewing will be held at Evans Brown Mortuary on Sunday, August 29 from 1 – 4 pm with a service immediately following at 4 pm.
