Tribute

Gilberto Morones was born in Santa Ana, California on April 5th, 1994. He was one of four children born to Oliverio and Esther Morones. He attended Perris High School and graduated with the class of 2012. He then went on to Mt. San Jacinto College, working towards his degree in Computer Engineering while working a part-time job. He enjoyed spending a lot of his time playing soccer as a right-winger, watching sports, listening to music and always looked forward to sharing his time and space with family and friends. His passion for music was unique and adventurous, as it steered clear mainstream media. He loved listening to multiple genres of music from hip-hop to reggae, spanish corridos and everything in between. Those who knew and loved him knew how calm, patient, humble, funny, happy, kind, trusting, and forgiving he was, and above all harmonious. Aside from his kindness, he would readily lend an ear and became an outlet for many to express themselves without fear of judgment. On October 26, 2019, Gilberto passed away in a tragic motor vehicle accident. The family finds comfort in knowing that he is now an angel watching over them; and will be there in heaven to welcome them when they meet again.

Gilberto is received with warm open arms by his grandparents, Jesus Rocha and Paulina Valadez. He leaves behind his loving parents Oliverio Morones and Esther Rocha; his brothers, Ricardo and Diego; his twin sister Maritza; a large united family; soccer pals; and many many friends to live on his memory.

Luego pasó a Mt.
