Gina Hebert – “Devoted Wife, Mother and Friend”

Gina grew up in Peoria, IL.  She was raised the youngest daughter of Dominic and Lena Colomac and part of a large family that included one brothers and six sisters. Gina spent her younger years going to school and working at assorted jobs.  In 1953, she started working at Hiram Walkers.  While employed there, it was suggested that she do some magazine ad modeling for the company.  Gina was a very attractive lady and modeling in the ads just showed how photogenic she was.  Around 1960, Gina and her mother Lena moved to California to follow other members of her family who had moved there already.

Gina met her strikingly handsome husband Ed in 1962 while working together Material Handling Supply.  It was love at first sight and they were married in 1964.  Over the next fifty-two years, you could not find a more loving and devoted couple.  In 1966, they decided to start a family in the only way they could.  They adopted a new-born baby son in need of a home.  Through their love and their sacrifices, they provided this son, Michael, with everything that he needed to be successful:  The Catholic religion, a private Catholic school education, work ethic and love.

Gina was best known for three things:  her religion, her political views and her next great discovery.  Gina was a devout Catholic and champion for the Right to Life cause.  Additionally, she was a devout Republican and spent many hours donating her time to causes and the campaigns of various politicians.  What she was best known for was her never ending search for the next great natural remedy or product to sell.  Gina was always the “go to” source for natural remedies for your various ailments.

In retirement, Gina spent his days enjoying life with her husband Ed and their family.  She volunteered at the church and helped anyone who needed a hand.  Gina enjoyed playing pinochle with her friends and watching the latest happenings in politics.  She loved watching their L.A. Angels, professional golf and political shows with Ed.

Gina is survived her son Michael and his wife Stacy, her granddaughter Stephanie and Great-granddaughter Skylar.

In remembrance, Gina was a devoted wife and wonderful mother.  She was always there to help others and was a champion for the causes she believed in.  The world is a lesser place without her.
