Glenda Lee Willis

Glenda Lee Willis was born in Long Beach, California on October 28, 1942 to parents Glenn & Doris Boyd.  She passed away in Hemet, California on December 24, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.  Glenda is survived by her husband of 55 years Daryl Willis; four sons Daryl Jr., Robert, David & Donald; nine grandchildren Robert, Jason, Amanda, Kaylee, Glenn, Keith, Beatrice, Kiera, & Danielle; great-granddaughter Elise Noelle; Sister Terry Lynn Gilbert; and many nieces & nephews.

Glenda enjoyed gardening, sewing, camping, square-dancing, and going to car shows.  She really just loved being with Daryl, no matter what they were doing.  She met Daryl in February of 1963 on a blind date.  They were engaged a month later and married in July.  Daryl says “the honeymoon never ended, it has lasted 55 years.”  Family and friends will miss her eternal smile and optimistic spirit.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, 12/29 at 1:00 pm with funeral at 2:00 pm at Evans Brown Sun City Chapel.  Private inurnment.
