Harold Yeatts

October 16, 1935 ~ August 20, 2018 (age 82)

Harold 'Rowdy" Yeatts, born October 16 1935, in New Brunswick, NJ, died peacefully, August 20, 2018, at the age of 82. After graduating High School in 1953, "Rowdy" joined the Navy to serve his country with pride and honor in the Silent Service of the Sub-Mariners for 31 years. He served in both the Korean conflict as well in Vietnam. While stationed in Pearl Harbor, he participated in the restoration of the USS Bowfin (SS287) and was honorably discharged in 1983 as a CWO4.

In addition to his military service to the country he loved, "Rowdy" was also a proud member of the Scottish Rite of Free Masons, Mt. Sinai #3 of Burlington, Vermont.

After his tour of duty with the Navy ended, "Rowdy", along with his wife Vicki moved to Florida in 1983, where he was employed with Anheuser-Busch as Brands Promotional Director.

For the past 21 years "Rowdy" and Vicki have lived in Murrieta, CA, working to restore the family log cabin to its original beauty. It was a job well done and a project he took much pride in. It was truly a labor of love. He knew every inch of the land and could name every plant and tree on the property.

"Rowdy" is survived by his loving wife Vicki, family, extended family and many friends.

May God grant you Fair Winds and a Following Sea.

Interment and Celebration of Life to be held at Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, CA on Friday September 7th at 10:00 a.m.
