Hellen Jane Brasher

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend HELLEN JANE BRASHER  "Gummy"   left this world to be with the Lord on Sunday July 15, 2018.

Hellen was born on February 26th 1924 in Pell City, Alabama. In December 7, 1940 she married the love of her life, David Hurbert "Pop" Brasher. Gummy and Pop were blessed with three children Randy, David "Bit" and Dianne.

Hellen was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Admiral Dewey Johnson;  her brother Vernon; three sisters Fae, Peggy and Virginia; her beloved Pop; daughter Connie Dianne and Son-in-law Bob Crane.

She is survived by her sister Vera; two sons Hurbert Randal with wife Gisela Brasher and  David Byron with his wife Joleen Brasher; 8 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and many friends.

We rejoice in the knowledge that Gummy is not only in the loving arms of Jesus but her beloved Pop and Dianne.
