Ignacia Guevara Canela nació en Colonia de Fresno Guadalajara, Jalisco México el 30 de Octubre de 1940. Fue la segunda de siete hijos nacidos de José Castro y María Loera. En 1962, a la edad de 22 años, se casó con su amado esposo Asencion Canela Escalera y fueron bendecidos con trece hijos Guadalupe, Sergio, Ascensión, Javier, Verónica, Gerardo, Ana, Saúl, Alfredo, Leticia, Delia, Ignacio y Rosalinda. Ignacia era una cocinera maravillosa, le encantaba atender a su familia siempre y disfrutaba bailar y pasar tiempo entre familia. Ella era muy divertida, le encantaba hacer una broma o dos, pero sobre todo le encantaba ayudar a la gente, tenía un corazón de servicial.

Ignacia ahora es recibida con los brazos abiertos por sus padres, José De Jesús Castro y María Isabel Loera; sus tres hermanos José Castro, David Castro y Nasario Castro. Ella deja atrás para apreciar y vivir en su memoria a su amado esposo con quien compartió 58 años de matrimonio Asencion Canela Escalera; sus trece hijos Guadalupe Canela, Sergio con su esposa Yolanda Canela, Ascensión Canela, Javier Canela, Verónica con su esposo José Ávila, Gerardo Canela, Ana con su esposo Adan Aleman, Saúl Canela, Alfredo Canela, Leticia con su esposo Jesús Mascorro, Delia con su esposa Naomi Vardy, Ignacio con su esposa Sandra Canela y Rosalinda con su esposo Gustavo García; treinta y ocho nietos; catorce bisnietos; sus dos hermanos Gabriel Castro y Antonio Castro; una gran cantidad de sobrinas y sobrinos y amigos.

A la familia le gustaría agradecer a todos por todo su amor y apoyo durante este momento difícil. Que dios los bendiga a todos.

Ignacia Guevara Canela was born in Colonia de Fresno Guadalajara, Jalisco México on October 30, 1940. She was the second of seven children born to Jose Castro and Maria Loera. In 1962, at the young age of 22 she married her loving husband Asencion Canela Escalera and they were blessed with thirteen children Guadalupe, Sergio, Ascencion, Javier, Veronica, Gerardo, Ana, Saul, Alfredo, Leticia, Delia, Ignacio and Rosalinda. Ignacia was a wonderful cook, she loved tending to her family always, and she enjoyed dancing and spending family time. She was very funny, she loved to crack a joke or two but most of all she loved helping people, she had a helpful heart always willing to help those in need.

Ignacia is now welcomed with open arms by her parents Jose De Jesus Castro and Maria Isabel Loera; her three brothers Jose Castro, David Castro and Nasario Castro. She leaves behind to cherish and live on in her memory her loving husband who she shared 58 years of matrimony Asencion Canela Escalera; her thirteen children Guadalupe Canela, Sergio with wife Yolanda Canela, Ascencion Canela, Javier Canela, Veronica with husband Jose Avila, Gerardo Canela, Ana with husband Adan Aleman, Saul Canela, Alfredo Canela, Leticia with husband Jesus Mascorro, Delia with wife Naomi Vardy, Ignacio with wife Sandra Canela,  and Rosalinda with husband Gustavo Garcia; thirty-eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; her two brothers Gabriel Castro and Antonio Castro; a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
