Ira "Gene" Eugene Crounk

Ira Eugene Crounk was born in Alamosa, Colorado on December 16, 1942 and passed away in Perris, California on April 2, 2020. He is survived by his five children, Michael, Robi, Gerald, Mark and Joseph; his sister Willene; grandchildren Sarah, Terald, Ashley, Jasmine, Hope, Collin, Corey, Connor, Vincent, Brandon; Great grandchildren Blake, Logan, Maddox, David, Brooklyn and Jace.

Gene had a very big heart, he would literally give the shirt off his back for someone he loved his heart was not judged by how much he loved, but how much he was loved by others, and that speaks volumes about Gene’s character.  Gene loved a good steak and BBQ along with his Silver Bullet. He could make everyone laugh and had one of those infectious laughs that just made you crack up laughing yourself. He had some of the funniest sayings he would tell his kids “I’m going to Scob your Knob”, or “I’m going to dropkick you over the nearest fence” and a favorite was “ I’m going to pound you in the nearest crack” these will never be forgotten.

Gene’s hobbies included fishing, Angels Baseball, Horse Racing, gambling at the casinos, and most important spending time with his family. Gene will never be forgotten because he will be in our hearts forever!
