Jess Barrera

Jess Barrera passed in peace on March 30th, with his family by his side.

He was born on October 9th, 1952 in Los Angeles, California. he attended Fontana High School, where he met his wife, Kathy. They were married on August 7th, 1971.

Jess’s interests included being a patron of the arts, traveling, reading, camping, hiking, cooking, dancing, medicine and meditation. Jess was a very spiritual man with an open mind when it came to religion and philosophy. Above all, family was most important to him.

As a lifelong learner he shared his knowledge with family and friends. Jess was always someone you could count on for the right answer, and if he didn't know it, he would find it for you. He devoted much of his time to helping others.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; 7 children, Theresa, Cristina, Veronica, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah, and Jess; 18 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
