John Edmund Malagon

John Edmond Malagon, 74, passed away on September 5, 2021 at VA Hospital in Loma Linda, California.  John was born May 13, 1947 in Sacramento, California to his late parents: Eliseo Raul Malagon and Adeline Huerta.

In the summer of 1966, John enlisted in to the United States Marine Corps, and served until he retired after 30 years of service (1966 to 1996). 

In June of 1968, John married the love of his life Lydia Malagon, with whom he spent the next forty-five amazing years with until Lydia’s passing in 2013. John is survived by his loving children Michael (his wife Ruthie), John, Sarah, James, and his beautiful grandchildren, Alexandria, Michael, Lauren, Sara, Reymundo (his wife Angie), John, Robert, Chantelle, Emily, and Alaeya. John was preceded in death by his son Eliseo Malagon.  

John was a beloved husband, amazing father, and an incredible grandfather.  John will be truly missed.
