John B Shoop

  John Benjamin Shoop Sr.

 Resident of Menifee, CA, passed away April 3, 2018.

Born Feb. 24, 1936 in Novinger, MO to Ernest and Myrtle Shoop, he was the 3rd of 4 children.  Oldest Joshua Shoop of Kirksville, MO, preceded in death by Carol Shoop Heidemann and Shirley Shoop Bushnell.

John was in maintenance his whole life as a technician and later in management.  In 1984 he met Patricia of Orange Co. CA and then married her in 1987.  Then in 2000 they moved to Sun City, CA to retire and live the American Dream, sunshine, apple pie, baseball, camping, family and the love of his life.

He is survived by his wife Patricia DeKoning Shoop and children Myra S. Shoop, John B. Shoop Jr. (Brenda) Marlene Shoop Pimental (Ben) and Steve DeKoning (Robin), David DeKoning (Cheryl), Douglas DeKoning (Kristie) and Richard DeKoning. Grandchildren Stacey, Shannon, Jake, Mat, Madison, Tanner, John W. and Savannah.  Great grandchildren Aislyn and Aedan.
