Jose "Joe" Magallanes, a devoted family man, successful business owner, and proud native of Zacoalco de Torres, passed away peacefully in Hemet, Ca., on November 12, 2023. Born on July 23, 1925, Joe lived a vibrant life filled with love, generosity, and courage. His spirit will live on through the many lives he touched with his warm heart and generous nature.

Joe was the proud owner and operator of Magallanes Trucking, a business he ran with his sons, Joe Jr. and Ted. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his work were evident in the success of his business. Joe's work ethic was admired by all who knew him, and his commitment to his business was only surpassed by his devotion to his family.

Family was at the heart of everything Joe did. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Isabel Rose, and his son, Joe Magallanes Jr. He is survived by his loving children, Grace Gradilla her spouse Lorenzo, Mary Regan her spouse Robert, Linda Cruz her spouse Luis, and Ted Magallanes. He also leaves behind three grandchildren Catherine Rose Regan, Stephen Cruz and Erick Cruz. Joe was a loving father and grandfather who took great pride in his family. His love for them was evident in every aspect of his life, from his work to his personal interests.

Joe had a green thumb and a love for the outdoors. He loved growing fruit trees and vegetables on his property in Perris, California.
