Joseph Emery Boehm

Joseph “Joe” Emery Boehm of Glendora, Ca passed away suddenly at home on the morning of October 27, 2018. He was born at Arcadia Methodist Hospital in Arcadia, Ca on September 23, 1981 to Jeffrey and Constance Boehm of Monrovia, Ca.  He married his high school sweetheart Annisa Corinne Forbes on February 4, 2011 in Norwalk, Ca and is survived by his wife and beloved furbabies; both of his parents; one sister Christy La Corte; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and paternal grandmother Linda Boehm of Sierra Madre, Ca.  Joe Grew up in Monrovia, Ca and attended local schools, graduating from Monrovia High School in the year 2000.  Upon graduation and having a passion for cars and mechanics he attended Citrus College in Glendora, Ca where he received his certification in diesel technology and went on to work for several truck modification companies.  He had a strong knowledge and love for fabrication and turned this into a career with The Southern California Gas Company which spanned over 11 years.  He worked as fleet mechanic for So Cal Gas in the start of his career reaching the level of Lead Fleet Mechanic at a young age.  He worked the last 3 years of his career as a facilities mechanic in Downtown Los Angeles.  Joe volunteered with a church based outreach for special needs teens through Fellowship Monrovia where he nurtured and aided in activities suited for these kids.  He was an avid off roader and could be found riding dirt bikes or driving modified trucks in the local desert.  Joe also enjoyed weekend boat and jet skiing trips in Lake Havasu with family and friends.  He shared his knowledge of vehicle modification and mechanical expertise with several Facebook off-roading forums.  His generous nature and quick wit is already greatly missed. Services will be held Saturday December 1, 2018 at 1pm at Fellowship Monrovia, Huntington Drive Campus located at 401 East Huntington Dr Monrovia, Ca 91016.
