Obituary

Josephine West was born in crocket Texas on April 4th 1927 to Willie James, and Margaret Perry. The Perry family migrated from Texas to Los Angeles California, bringing four children along, Josephine, Willerdean, Wille and Earslyne. Newly situated in California Josephine and husband William West began a family and created three beautiful daugh-ters, Chire Arnold, Rosemary Washington and Toray Robinson. Josephine worked for Lockheed as a fabricator from 1976-2005 as her husband worked as an electrician. Josephine loved to cook, crochet and most of all keep her family in line. Cooking was a natural gift and talent of hers, and her recipes will be a redundant stamp passed on continuously to each genera-tion.

She cherished her family dearly and loved to fish and crochet as a hobby with all of her grandchildren. She was very religious and remained in church for majority of her life as a devoted Christian. Josephine had a beautiful an-gelic voice that could be extremely comforting, but could also switch to a very high pitch with an additional eyebrow raise that followed with a pointing of her index finger. Josephine surrounded everyone around her with love and appreciation and a big beautiful smile that will be adored for an eternity. Josephine was preceded in death by both parents and grandparents, hus-band William West, siblings, her children Toray and Rosemary. Grandchildren Vance, Roy and Janie, and great grandchil-dren Christina and Sky’Re. Josephine left her legacy to her daugh-ter Chire Arnold, grandchildren Keith Arnold, Kevin Arnold, and Royce Washington. Granddaughters Lena Garner, and Chire Robinson. She leaves a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
