Joyce Blonda Stevens

Joyce B. Stevens was born March 15th, 1931 in Cortez, Colorado to James and Retta Carver. She entered into her new home, in heaven, on June 30, 2018. 

 Joyce was the 10th daughter of 12 siblings. She opened her home to her mother Retta, whom she lovingly cared for, for 65 years. Joyce had a loving and gracious heart and was a wonderful sister to her brothers and sisters.

 Joyce married the love of her life, Everett O. Stevens on October 30th, 1947. It was around 1950 when they moved to California where they raised their 3 children. Joyce enjoyed the summer and as soon as school was out, the family would head out on a very well planned adventure. The family always enjoyed traveling to the beach, visiting relatives, camping and bonding together as a family. 

Joyce accomplished her goals and loved without reserve. She spent her time as a prayer warrior, attending church, TOPS meetings, cheering on the Dodgers and Lakers, traveling, and loving on her many grandchildren. Joyce never missed a thing!

She is survived by her husband Everett O. Stevens; their three children, Everett Leroy Stevens and his fiance Beverly of La Mirada, CA. Paul Edward Stevens and his beautiful wife Candace of Temecula, CA. and Debra Diane Voight and her husband Pastor Mike of Klamath Falls, OR. 

Grandchildren: Manuel and Sandra Lopez, Michael and Katie Voight, Jeremy and Jessica Stevens, Danielle and Jason Tucker, Joshua and Lindsay Stevens.

Greatgrandchildren: Manuel, Daniel, Darlene, Aaron, Daisy, Christian, Josiah, Justice, Eric, Anthony, Grace, Faith, Mia and Harper.

Great-Great Grandson: Dominic
