Judith Ann Anderson (Shatsky(Szacki)-Privett) (74), born January 13, 1944 in Los Angeles California, was called up to heaven on Tuesday July 10, 2018 from her home in Lake Elsinore CA. She was surrounded by her loving husband, children, sister, niece, grand & great grandchildren over the remaining weeks of her life. She was preceded in death by her father Albert Shatsky born in Poland and her mother Rose Shatsky (Siegel) born in Brooklyn NY, older brother Gary Shatsky, younger sister Ruth Shatsky (2 children Abra & Albert). She leaves behind loving husband Carroll Anderson of Lake Elsinore CA, 8 children David & Kathryn Privett (2 children: Alyssa & Ashley(husband Payton)), Melaney (Privett) & Brian Cornell (7 children Brittaney(fiancé Garrett & son Levi), Jacob(wife Bailey), Kimberley, Tiffaney, Justin(wife Heidi & 3 children), Joshua(4 children) & Kristin(husband Eric & 3 children), Daniel & Crystal Privett (2 children: Landon & Luke), Marie (Privett) & Rob Behnke (2 children: Hollie & Lillie), Bryan & Katrina Anderson (2 children: Kabran & Alicia), Katie (Anderson) & Jamal Williams (2 children: Kobe & Jordan), Kelly (Anderson) & Derek Hedjuk (2 children: DJ & Liam), Melissa (Anderson) & Luke Counts, youngest sister Beth Blount (Shatsky) & husband Harold Blount (1 child: Taylor) of Goode VA.
She was a devoted wife & nurturing mother to her children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and with her extended family. Mom always provided a smile and joyful hello when greeting us. When asking people what they loved most about Judy and mom was her positive outlook, sense of humor (catch phrases “All That Jazz”, “Bubala” & “Oy Vey”) and encouraging words. She expressed an amazing disposition through her consistency in sending greeting cards to family and friends throughout the years.
She illustrated unconditional love in many forms. She raised 4 children as a “stay at home” mom in Covina & Claremont CA with Chuck Privett (23 years) and then was employed by Best Products & Sears in Montclair CA and Headstart in Rancho Cucamonga CA. She then enjoyed 19 years of marriage with Carroll passing away on the exact day of their wedding anniversary: July 10th.
She graduated from West Covina High School in 1961. She grew up with a large number of her Aunts, Uncles and cousins being a big part of her family experiences. She went on to Mount San Antonio college to study Drama, Administration & Modern Dance while becoming a Miss Pomona Los Angeles County Beauty Queen with commitments to the community. She later completed her AA degree from Citrus College in Glendora CA. Judy was raised in a Jewish home growing up and then accepted Jesus Christ into her life in 1982. Mom loved dancing throughout her life with her family & friends. She met her husband Carroll in 1996 at a Church Bible Study and they became friends over the course of the first few weeks of meeting. In marriage with Carroll they went on to experience various ocean cruises, traveling to see family in Texas & across Southern California, visiting Pechanga Resort in Temecula and finding time to attend grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. They were two inseparable believers in love until the Day God called her home. Her children will miss the regular phone calls keeping in touch with their lives and sharing experiences throughout time.
SHARE YOUR SMILE MOM AND JOY IN HEAVEN AS GOD SHARES YOU WITH OTHERS WHO HAVE PASSED ON BEFORE US!!!
WE LOVE AND MISS YOU!
We thought of you with love today. But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday, And days before that too. We think of you in silence, We often speak you name. Now all we have is memories, and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, With which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping, We have you in our heart.
