Every once in awhile I see your face in others and the wonders you had. Memories are forever and you are dearly missed. I have all these cards and gifts here and think of you often. Wish you were here to chat with me all hours of the night. I had no clue as nothing was said about services. We would have been there! Everything you had told me has happened. It’s heartbreaking and we just have to say yup you told us so. It is what it is. Karen you will always be shining bright in our lives and we still have all the memories and conversations to pictures to say hi to you and laugh about amongst family. You are very much missed.

I had been trying to get a hold of Karen for over a month or so, and, she normally calls me back within minutes, and when I heard her phone was no longer operational, I feared the worst. We had been friends for 40+ years going back to Rochester. Whatever will become of her mother now?
