Karen Lee Mathis

Karen Lee Mathis was born in Rochester, Minnesota on June 24, 1946. She was the oldest of two children born to Clement Bremer and Georgia Adams. She attended Carson High School in Carson, California, graduated, and went to attain a Nursing Degree. She was a Registered Nurse who dedicated and specialized in helping the elderly, those with special needs and disabilities for 40 amazing years. Karen enjoyed traveling and “flights of fantasy”. She was a very straight forward person with a big heart. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and colleagues.

Karen is preceded in death by her father Clement Bremer. She leaves behind to cherish and live in her memory her mother Georgia Carlin; two sons Stephen Mathis and Daniel Johnsen; her daughter Deborah Johnsen; her brother Michael Bremer; one granddaughter Serenity Rayne; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
