Karen Elaine McRoberts

Karen Elaine McRoberts was born on September 5, 1963, in Orange County, California to James Hicks and Joan Hicks. Karen was the youngest of two children. Karen spent most of her younger years in Garden Grove, relocating to the Inland Empire in 2000 to care for her grandpa. On May 16, 2010, she married her soulmate, Rick McRoberts, Rick meant the world to her. She loved Rick’s children, Richard and Ryan McRoberts and Kaylee Bell, and would often speak about them. She loved cars, flamingos, globes, her cats and was a comedian at heart. She was a true humanitarian, full of joy and constant laughter. Karen enjoyed adventure, she’d recently gone skydiving and enjoyed skiing with the love of her life. She also enjoyed basketball and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones; many of whom she had adopted as family. Two of Karen’s proudest accomplishments were becoming a Pool Contractor in 2017, and in 2019 opening her company, Wicked Pools with the help of her beloved Rick. She did everything to ensure all her clients were completely satisfied.

Her kind heart and joyful spirit will be missed by all. She leaves behind her loving parents, James and Joan Hicks, her husband Rick, her stepchildren: Richard and Ryan McRoberts and Kaylee Bell. Her sister Roxanne Chappell and niece Katie Chappell and nephew Ricky Chappell.
