Obituary

Kathryn Abundo,our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was born in Elizabeth, West Virginia on April 20, 1951 to her parents Paul Springston and Mary Greathouse. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Temecula, California on February 01, 2019.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents Paul Springston and Mary Greathouse; and a stepmother Elizabeth Springston.

She now watches over her loving husband of 33 years Manuel Abundo; her daughters Jacqueline with husband Richard Ramos, Benita with husband Ian Suter; a son Paul Abundo; her siblings  Larry Springston, Carol Young, Donnie Springston, Debra Ladd and Robin Beavers; two grandchildren Bailey and Chase Ramos; her godchildren Jemalyn Griffin and  Joshua Chavez; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a multitude of loving friends that were family.

If Roses grow in Heaven
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.

Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
