LA Jones

OBITUARY

LA Jones Jr. was born in Starkville, Mississippi on October 15, 1948. He was the youngest of seven children born to LA Jones and Eliza Sanders. He attended school for a few years then went on to work at a very young age.  On March 16, 1979 he married his wife Deborah and together they shared 40 years of love and companionship.  LA loved to tend to his animals in his ranch. You will see various baby goats running around, horses, a llama, chickens, dogs and his roosters on the trees. He spent most of his time outdoors caring for them. LA will mostly be remembered as a person who kept it real, he was a direct person who wasn’t afraid to let you know what he thought. He was from Mississippi, so he had a southern heart and enjoyed listening to his Blues. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years Deborah Jones, his loving family and his farm animals.

It is not a good-bye forever, but as he always said … “See You Late!”
