August 10, 1933 ~ December 2, 2023 (age 90) 90 Years Old
Leora Bradford, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023, at the age of 90 in Corona, California. Born on August 10, 1933, in South Dakota, she was the youngest of nine children. Leora's life was a testament to the power of warmth and generosity.
Leora, affectionately known by friends and family simply as Lee or Grandma, carried her generous spirit into every room she entered and into the hearts of everyone she met. Her unwavering friendliness and caring nature were the hallmarks of her character. Her neighbors often heard horns honking as friends and family would drive by her house.
Leora's journey through life was shared with her beloved sons, Norman Bradford and his wife Dolores, and Albert "Al" Bradford and his wife Edie. She was a source of endless support for her family, guiding them with gentle wisdom. Her legacy continues to flourish through her four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and soon to be born great-great-grandchild, a testament to the loving family she nurtured. She was welcomed into heaven by her husband, siblings, and extended family.
Her interests reflected the very essence of her being. Leora found peace in taking long walks, where she would often reflect on the simple pleasures of life. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence, and her commitment to her church community was unwavering. Leora dedicated countless hours to volunteering at the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard and Thrift Store, where she was not just a volunteer but a friend to all, always ready with a warm smile and a helping hand.
Perhaps the greatest joy in Leora's life was the time spent with her family. Whether it was a quiet afternoon chat, an early morning phone call, or a lively family gathering, those moments were cherished and filled with laughter and love. She was always eager to play games, ride on the back of a motorcycle, and go on adventures.
Leora will be remembered as the embodiment of love, kindness, and friendliness. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we say goodbye to Leora Bradford, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a woman deeply loved.
Her passing leaves a void in the lives of her family and friends, but they take solace in knowing that her legacy of love will continue to guide them. They know they will see her again at the Pearly Gates. Her memory will be carried forward in the stories shared, the values she instilled, and the love she gave so freely.
As we honor the remarkable life of Leora Bradford, we reflect on the countless lives she touched and the profound difference she made in the world. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Leora, and know that your life was a gift to us all.
