Loretta Agnes Eckes

Loretta Eckes, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2023, in Hemet, California, at the age of 82. Born on January 25, 1941, in Lake Elsinore, California, Loretta was a lifelong resident of the area, also helping in the making of the Menifee valley history book, she also leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew her.

Loretta is survived by her two children, James Eckes and Barbara Tait, her Nephew and niece, Patrick and Bonnie Bush, her five grandchildren, Brent (Casey), Bradley, Dara, Aubrey, and Jamie, as well as her sibling, Calvin. She was preceded in death by her sister Lorraine and her granddaughter Dominique. Loretta's family was her pride and joy, and she cherished the time spent with them, creating many lifelong memories.

Loretta's dedication to her work was evident throughout her long career at Datatronics (formerly Bourns), where she was employed for over 40 years as a quality assurance inspector. She was a well-respected and valued employee who was admired by her coworkers for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and friendly demeanor. Loretta's commitment to her job was only surpassed by her devotion to her family and her faith.

A woman of many interests, Loretta's passions included gardening and taking family vacations. Her love for nature and the outdoors was evident in the beautiful gardens she cultivated and the many trips she took with her family to explore new places. Loretta also had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs and cats, who brought her immense joy and companionship throughout her life.

Loretta was a friendly, faith-filled, and selfless individual who touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. Her unwavering faith and devotion to her family were an inspiration to all who knew her. Loretta's warm and welcoming presence will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and the community.

As we remember Loretta, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and many cherished memories. Her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and the countless lives she touched throughout her time on earth. Rest in peace, Loretta, and thank you for the love and light you brought into our lives.
